Biography

Robert D. Berg, aka "DigiRob", is a writer/producer based in Denver.

Rob has two feature screenplay projects in the pipeline. "Big Buddha Farm", co-written by Jesse Wang, is a drama set during the Covid pandemic. A middle-aged Chinese immigrant is forced to journey from California to Oklahoma, where the promise of work on a marijuana farm becomes his last chance to support his family back home - even if it means confronting his own fears and the law.

His other project is a grounded sci-fi thriller "A Million Ways to Sleep". Desperate to cure her chronic insomnia, a woman signs up for experimental treatment from a charismatic neurologist and soon discovers sleep is the least of her problems.

"Carry Tiger To Mountain", a short screenplay he co-wrote with Rajiv Shah and Jesse Wang won Showtime's Tony Cox Award for Screenwriting at the 2017 Nantucket Film Festival under the title "The Yao of Tao".

Rob produced and co-wrote "Bad Sponsor", a one-act comedy, for the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

He co-created and co-wrote "Mr. Wang Goes to Hollywood", a YouTube comedy web series with Jesse Wang ("The Laundromat").

He has produced 3 short films that have appeared in festivals: "Night of the Killer", "Undercover" and "Hard Money".

His theatrical productions include "Modern Prometheus LLC" featuring 'osseous labyrinth' for the UCLA Live series and Fabulous Monsters' "Ramayana 2K3".
