Dean Benton was born on February 6, 1914 in Topeka, Kansas, USA. He was an actor, known for The Pace That Kills (1935), The Shadow of Silk Lennox (1935) and The Return of Chandu (1934). He was married to Emma J. Wettlin. He died on January 28, 1996 in Houston, Texas, USA.

His marriage certificate from 1936 in Orange, California lists his occupation as actor.

Attended Tustin High School.

In high school, Dean played football and appeared in several plays.

Prior to joining films, he was active in community theatre in Laguna Beach.
