Biography

Asaf Benny is an Emmy nominated director of photography and filmmaker based in Canada who has worked on local and international projects including the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia (2021), The Jim Henson Company's Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (2022) (for which he was nominated for a 2025 Children and Family Emmy in the category of live-action cinematography) and the APTN series Tribal (2020). He has written and directed award-winning documentaries Whyte Snuff (2017) and short films that have screened in festivals in Canada and around the world.
