Biography

Chester Bennett was born on February 12, 1892 in San Francisco, California, USA. He was a director and producer, known for The Snowshoe Trail (1922), The Champion of Lost Causes (1925) and Diamonds Adrift (1921). He was married to Gladys Tennyson. He died on October 29, 1943 in Hong Kong.

Involved in the Hong Kong film industry, then became a restaurateur.

Wife survived and was a witness in war crimes trials.

Executed for his involvement in smuggling money into Stanley Camp and other Hong Kong resistance activities.
