Angelena Bonet

Angelena Bonet is an Australian multi-award winning documentary filmmaker, singer-songwriter, humanitarian, and the founder of Crystal Heart Productions. A former international model, actress, and television host, she has worked across Australia, North America, Europe and Asia, bringing her dynamic screen presence and storytelling passion to global audiences. A powerful advocate for women’s rights, Bonet transforms her lived experience as a survivor into creative work that inspires healing and social change. Her films and soundtracks have received over 400 international film festival awards, humanitarian honours, and industry recognition, reflecting her dedication to empowerment and truth-telling through art. The original soundtracks featured throughout her documentary productions were co-written with her late fiancé, musician, songwriter and producer Erick Deeby. Bonet’s work continues to receive international recognition for its creative excellence, humanitarian focus, and commitment to inspiring positive social change. She continues to create original films and music through Crystal Heart Productions, based in Sydney, Australia and Toronto, Canada.
