Ina Benita lived in Warsaw, Poland during the World War II. When the Warsaw Uprising broke out in August 1944, many people tried to escape using the city's underground canals. For many decades Ina Benita was believed to have died there of exhaustion and shock, along with her baby son, son of a German officer (she was in prison and became pregnant there).

She came to Poland with her parents in 1920.

In 1924-1929 she attended the monastery boarding school Societe du Sacre-Coeurs de Jesus in Paris.

Wedding of Benita and Jerzy Teslawski took place in the Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity at Podwale Street in Warsaw. The bride sent on Orthodoxy.

Actress never divorced her husband Stanislaw Lipinski. She left husband in mid-1939, but none of them filed for divorce until the outbreak of war. Both of them convinced of mutual death in wartime trusts, got married again with new partners. They committed a formal bigamy.

Although the spouses never met after the outbreak of the war - Benita stayed in Warsaw, later she lived in Austria, France, Morocco - while Lipinski was sent to Siberia, where he eventually joined the Anders Army, with which he traveled to the Middle East - formally never divorced spouses not knowing both of them, they lived in one country - the USA, in which both died.
