  • Valentina Belyaeva was born on February 27, 1925, in the village of Nizhne Selishche in a large peasant family. During the war she worked in a school, as a pioneer leader. In 1944, in an evacuation in Omsk, she played in a dance and drama club, worked in the Omsk Regional Theater, studied in the studio at the theater. After the third year Belyaeva left for Moscow and entered the second year of the VGIK. She graduated from the VGIK (Mikhail Romm's workshop) in 1951. She worked at the Theater-Studio of the film actor. The husband of Valentina Belyaeva was the film director Ilya Yakovlevich Gurin (1922-1994). She passed away on March 27, 2015 in Moscow, Russia. She was buried at Kuntsevo Cemetery next to her husband.
