Daughter of Domenico Magnoni and Adele Margherita Dossena. One sister Armida.

She learned from a friend that Carlo Lizzani was looking for extras for an upcoming film to be shot in her city. Armed with only a passport photo, she presented herself to the director, who burst out laughing at her naivety and encouraged her to take more professional photos.
