Biography

Charles Belden was born on April 21, 1904 in Montclair, New Jersey, USA. He was a writer, known for House of Wax (2005), Fifteen Wives (1934) and Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933). He was married to Joan Marsh and Beth Milton. He died on November 3, 1954 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

American dramatist and screenwriter, a former journalist. He attended Brown and Yale Universities and started in films in the early 1930s, working primarily for Warner Brothers, Universal and 20th Century-Fox. He was married to Beth Milton and Joan Marsh. He is best known for his three-act play "The Mystery of the Wax Museum", twice filmed as "House of Wax".
