- John Michale Beers was born on March 28, 1952 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He and his older sister Lynne subsequently moved with their family to Provo, Utah. Doug Seus hired him to be an animal trainer as part of Wasatch Rocky Mountain Wildlife when they established it in 1973. They trained bears, wolves, coyotes, deer and falcons for either cinematic films or television programs. Beers worked for them until his retirement in 1993. He officially established his concrete constructing working company afterwards.
