- Michael Been was born on March 17, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. He was an actor and composer, known for Real Genius (1985), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and Tango & Cash (1989). He died on August 19, 2010 in Hasselt, Flanders, Belgium.
- Mike Been was a member of the rock group The Call, whose song "I Still Believe", was performed by another band on the soundtrack of the movie The Lost Boys (1987).
