After graduating in 1998 from Willamette High School in Eugene, Oregon,
he worked as a driver at the local Coca-Cola bottling plant. He decided
to try for a modeling career and moved to Los Angeles, where acting
classes and some luck brought him roles on television and in low-budget
features.
