- Fritz Beckmann was born in 1867 in Germany. He was an actor, known for The Island of the Lost (1921), Prostitution (1919) and Der Gaukler von Paris (1922). He died on April 29, 1933 in Berlin, Germany.
- His last movies came in the sound film era of the 30s into being with "Der Stumme von Portici" (1931), "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick" (1931) and "Im Bann des Eulenspiegels" (1932). The following year Fritz Beckmann died at the age of 66.
