Theodor Becker was born on 11 January 1880 in Mannheim, Germany. He was an actor and costume designer, known for Ein Sommernachtstraum (1925), The Fall of Jerusalem (1922) and Pest in Florenz (1919). He was married to Helma Seitz and Maria Fein. He died on 26 June 1952 in Coppenbrügge, Lower Saxony, Germany.

The actress Maria Becker and Renate Becker are his daughters.

Besides his activity as an actor he taught talented young actors, among them Wolfgang Völz.
