Documentary director and editor Mark Becker was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and won the Humanitas Prize for Vow of Silence: The Assassination of Annie Mae (2024) on Hulu. He co-directed and edited the Emmy-nominated Art and Craft (2014), which was shortlisted for the 2015 Academy Awards. Becker's first feature, Romántico (2005), premiered at Sundance and received two Independent Spirit nominations. He directed the Emmy-nominated Pressure Cooker (2008) for Participant Media, and was an editor on Lost Boys of Sudan (2003). Most recently, Becker was the Supervising Editor on The Librarians (2025), which premiered at Sundance and has been released theatrically throughout the country. Becker is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
