- Worked as a DJ in Toronto, Ontario on the Mad Dog and Billie Show that aired on Kiss 92.5.
- Sang the YouTube hit song "The Real Sugar BayBee". Many fan videos were made without attributing Beard as the singer.
- Of all the characters she has played, she names Rini from Sailor Moon (1995) and Kirsten from Captain Flamingo (2006) as some her all-time favorite voice roles.
