- David Baxter is an entertainment executive, WGA writer, producer, and comics creator with over 25 years of experience across film, television, and media. A graduate of the University of Michigan (BA, Psychology) and UCLA's Producers Program (MFA), he began his career as assistant to Oscar-winning director Errol Morris. While still at UCLA, Baxter produced Shooting Lily, winner of the Dramatic Feature Award at SXSW (1997).
He recently launched Larger Than Life Entertainment after serving as VP of Development at Legion M, where he managed the company's slate and produced films and events including My Dead Friend Zoe, William Shatner: You Can Call Me Bill, Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose, and the Stan Lee Tribute.
Baxter is dedicated to bridging fandom and entertainment production, empowering fans with both a voice and a stake in the creative process. He has also written for Image Comics and is recognized for his commitment to genre storytelling and deep engagement with fan communities.
