- Godfrey Ho was born on November 10, 1948 in Hong Kong. He is a director and writer, known for The Ninja Squad (1986), Thunder of Gigantic Serpent (1988) and Challenge of the Ninja (1986).

- He is considered a master of low-budget Hong Kong actioners. His work consisted mostly of Z-grade movies that were made with a "cut-and-paste" technique. First he shot his own footage with a Caucasian cast to appeal the Western market. Then he would take footage from movies from other Asian countries and combine them with his own material. With that procedure, he often had four or five rock bottom quality movies while having spent the budget of one.
