Biography

Carrie Hollinger is an experienced Costume Supervisor, Key Costumer and Set Costumer with more than three decades of work in film and television. A native of North Baltimore, Ohio, she developed an early interest in costume design through her love of classic television and theater. She earned a BFA in Costume Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and began her career with an internship on a feature film before relocating to Los Angeles. Early in her career, she joined the IATSE Costumers Union working on the studio feature Double Dragon followed by Quick and the Dead and Alien Nation. Hollinger succeeded these early films with four seasons as a Set Costumer on the television series Party of Five. Her notable film credits include Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, Four Christmases, and Bridesmaids. Most recently, she supervised the Costume Department on the Avatar sequels, where she worked for over seven years-an unusually long engagement in the industry.
