Jackie Basehart was born on October 11, 1951 in Santa Monica, California, USA. He was an actor, known for The Black Corsair (1976), The Inglorious Bastards (1978) and Tea with Mussolini (1999). He was married to Tatiana Basehart. He died on May 20, 2015 in Milan, Italy.

Died as the result of a very rare disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, PSP. PSP is a very uncommon brain disorder that affects movement, control of walking (gait) and balance, speech, swallowing, vision, mood and behavior, and thinking.

Son of Richard Basehart and Valentina Cortese.

Older half-brother of Gayla Basehart.

Had a long relationship with model and actress Antonia Dell'Atte in the early 80s.

Good friend of Massimo Serato.
