Biography

Barzilai is a Los Angeles based, 'hands-on' producer with thirty feature films to his credit. He has overseen multimillion dollar projects for companies including Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, MGM, Paramount and Nu-Image/Millennium.

Films under his auspices have been shot both in the United States and internationally, including: Romania, Luxembourg, Canada, Bulgaria, Germany, South Africa, The UK, The Czech Republic and Israel.

Barzilai is versed in all US unions' payroll and regulations and complete production accounting, in addition to the nationality requirements of the international co-production.

Prior to pursuing a career in producing Barzilai was a Production Designer. He holds MFA degree in Film Production from the American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles and a BFA degree in Design from UCLA.
