- Has volunteered for "Heart and Voices," an organization that enlist singers to perform in hospitals.
- He created the role of airline steward Charles Castleton in Alan Jay Lerner and Charles Strouse's short-lived musical "Dance a Little Closer" (1983), introducing "Why Can't the World Go and Leave Us Alone" - the first openly gay love song ever heard in a Broadway musical.
- Received a Los Angeles Drama Critic's Award for his role as Billy Flynn in "Chicago" and received an Olivier nomination for his Petruchio in "Kiss Me Kate."
- Has a CD out -- an anthology of Kander & Ebb songs.
- He was nominated for a 2002 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Musical of 2001 for his performance in "Kiss Me, Kate" at the Victoria Palace in London, England.
- Along with Anthony Crivello, is playing the title character in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera Las Vegas Spectacular. Due to the intense performance schedule, many of the more difficult roles in the musical have been double-cast, such as Christine & Carlotta. (September 2006)

- His first musical was a chorus role in "110 In The Shade" with a summer theatre production at a college close to his home town about a year before transferring to Carnegie Mellon. His first musical lead was in high school playing Frank Butler in "Annie Get Your Gun".
- He was awarded the 1998 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Featured Performance for "Chicago," at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
