  • Tim Barlow was born on January 18, 1936 in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Hot Fuzz (2007), Les Misérables (1998) and Automata (2014). He died on January 20, 2023 in the UK.

Trivia

  • He was profoundly deaf, as result of an incident while testing a high-velocity rifle during his army service. In July 2008 he had a cochlear implant, enabling him to hear for the first time in over fifty years; he described his experience of the implant in a BBC Radio 4 programme "Earfull - From Silence into Sound".
  • Received advice about being an actor from Sir Laurence Olivier and Trevor Nunn (both former directors of the Royal National Theatre in London).
