Biography

John Perry Barlow was born on October 3, 1947 in Pinedale, Wyoming, USA. He was an actor, known for Endangered Species (1982), Gitchegumee Jones and the Jewels of Destiny (2012) and Scrapple (1998). He was married to Elaine Parker. He died on February 7, 2018 in San Francisco, California, USA.

He was also a poet, essayist, and advocate for civil liberties.

He began co-writing songs with Grateful Dead founding member Bob Weir in 1971; they worked together until the Dead disbanded in 1995.
