Biography

Isaac Bardavid was born on February 13, 1931 in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was an actor and writer, known for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) and Spider-Man 3 (2007). He died on February 1, 2022 in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He is the Brazilian voice of Skeletor (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983)), Gordon (Batman: The Animated Series (1992)), Wolverine (X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)), King Harold (Shrek 2 (2004)), Chief Powhatan (Pocahontas (1995)), Deep Throat (The X-Files (1993)), KITT (first voice in Knight Rider series until "Knight of the Juggernaut" Part 1 Season 4 and Knight Rider 2000 movie) and a lot of others.

He wrote a book called Versos Adversos (2016).

In 2017, he had the honor to personally meet Hugh Jackman on the actor's appearance on Hugh Jackman (2017). Bardavid is the voice of Wolverine in the X-Men franchise (films and the animated series).
