Biography

Lyndall Barbour was born on May 19, 1916 in Cairo, Egypt. She was an actress, known for You Can't See Round Corners (1967), You Can't See 'round Corners (1969) and Homicide (1964). She died on October 10, 1986 in Wahroonga, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Began her professional acting career after a successful audition (the last she was intended to undergo, following a year of rejections) for Sydney radio producer Edward Howell in 1937: "OK," he told her, "you can't act for nuts, but you've got a nice voice. I'll take a chance on it.". The play was "Coronets of England" for 2CH.
