Thomas Henry Banks, born in Louisiana US, father of two fraternal twins and one other child (probably others). His kids have not seen him in over 20 years to him its almost as if they never existed. Twins run in his family, two sisters and a hateful mother. His daughter writes in this in maybe hoping somehow he'll see this. probably won't but worth a try. A much appreciated action his daughter has always wished he had done.

Jazz musician and composer who had his TV own talk show and was a co-founder of the Alberta Foundation for the Performing Arts. He was a Canadian senator for Alberta (2000-2011).

He was awarded the O.C. (Officer of the Order of Canada) on April 19, 1991and invested on: October 30, 1991 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His versatility as a pianist, conductor, arranger, composer and television personality has touched all aspects of the music scene in Canada and Edmonton in particular. His life is music and his business is entertainment and, as the founding Chairman of the Alberta Foundation for the Performing Arts, he worked tirelessly to ensure that other musicians and performers would receive exposure throughout the country.

He was awarded the 2012 Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee Medal from the Canadian Governor General in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
