Biography

Polan Banks was born on July 21, 1906 in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for My Forbidden Past (1951), The Great Lie (1941) and Street of Women (1932). He was married to Linda Keiser and Amalie Baruch. He died in March 1984.

First wife Amalie Baruch was the niece of financier Bernard Baruch.

During World War II Captain Banks served as chief of the War Department's stage and screen section.
