- Documentary film producer. Recently co produced Sunday Best, a documentary on Ed Sullivan who booked Black American artists and notable figures on his variety show in the early days of television. A NY Times Critic's pick. I also associate produced The Women of Three Mile Island. I'm finishing a documentary on my mother, Diahann Carroll. Venus and Serena Williams are exec producers.
I attended Columbia University School of Journalism, and worked at PBS on the McNeil Lehrer News Hour and at CNN in Atlanta. Shot a movie in South Africa called Cape of Good Hope, which I produced and co-wrote. The film won multiple awards, including Special Mention for Excellence in Filmmaking from the National Board of Review, an NAACP nomination for Outstanding Foreign Film, and it was runner up for Audience Award at the Toronto Film Festival.
