After Degrassi High (1987) ended in 1991, she retired from acting to return to school. However, in August 1999, an Australian man who maintained a website about the show was arrested and charged with "stalking" her over a six-year period. They found four unregistered firearms, five firearms not in proper storage, four electronic detonators and a length of detonator cord.
