Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Yang Bai was born on 22 April 1920 in Beijing, China. She was an actress, known for The Spring River Flows East (1947), Crossroads (1937) and Sa xiang ren jian dou shi ai (1989). She was married to Junxiang Zhang and Junchao Jiang. She died on 18 September 1996 in Shanghai, China.

During the Cultural Revolution, the Red Guards considered her to be too bourgeois. She was imprisoned, kept in solitary confinement in a dark cell for five years.
