- Meher Baba was born on February 25, 1894 in Poona, Bombay Presidency, British India. He was a writer, known for You Alone Exist (2005). He died on January 31, 1969 in Meherabad, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India.
- A very important spiritual figure in the 20th century with of hundreds of thousands of followers mostly in India but also in USA, Europe and Australia.
- He had two car accidents in the 50s: in Prague, Oklahoma, in 1952 (during one of his travels to USA) and other in India in 1956, which limited severely his ability to walk. One of his hips fractured and remained damaged for the rest of his life. Complications from the fracture finally killed him in 1969.
