- Having now begun pixelhip, a moving title and logo design business, David has come full circle. He began his career as a graphic special effects camera operator, given his first break working for Robert Abel & Associates.
Although privileged to also have enjoyed lengthy, gainful employment as an assistant editor and before that as a 2nd assistant cameraman, David has been lured back to motion graphics; this time it's the excitement of having his own business and the opportunity to create stunning imagery using powerful desktop computers. Experimentation is an important part of the process and contributes immeasurably to David's enthusiasm and productivity.
When David attended Cal Arts in the seventies, his experimental efforts manipulated an animation camera to move as if it were a pendulum. Later at USC he was intrigued by experimentation with the endless possibilities of picture and sound editing. Now with his motion graphics endeavors, the canvas is broad and the sky's the limit for his creativity.
