Tasha Auer
- Actress
Growing up in Miami and Orlando, Tasha performed at Edith Bush Civic Theater and Once Upon a Stage Dinner Theater as a child. The King and I, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Peter Pan and The Sound of Music are just several of the many plays she was credited in. Tasha also did national and local commercials including Trix Cereal, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Oxy Clean Pads, Kmart ,etc. While attending and graduating Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Major in Media Performance and Minor in Theater, Tasha was a proud member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, a Pi Kappa Alpha Little Sister, Sigma Chi Derby Queen and Seminole Cheerleader (both JV and Varsity). As Kismet would have it, Tasha starred in one of today’s well-known writer Gregg McBride’s first student films called ‘Gameday' to a packed theater in downtown Tallahassee! She kept busy doing a series of commercials for a local car dealership and worked for the local PBS Station as an assistant to the Program Manager. While at PBS, Tasha got to do their Promos, of course! Presently, after taking a 30 year hiatus to raise 6 kids and live life, Tasha is jazzed to be back in class and studying the Meisner technique under the famed Laurel Vouvray, a protegee of Sanford Meisner and Uta Hagen. Tasha feels blessed to get a second chance at her calling and life’s passion (aka what makes her feel most alive and happy). Age is just a number, not a sentence ;).
