Biography

Joseph Attanasio was born on August 25, 1925. He was an actor, known for Quiz Show (1994), Disclosure (1994) and Sleepers (1996). He was married to Connie. He died on January 2, 2015 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Joseph is the father of Marc Attanasio, owner of the Milwaukee Brewers, and he sang the National Anthem for the Brewers' home opener on April 11, 2005. He is also the father of screenwriter Attansio, Paul, and has acted in four of Paul's TV shows and films.

Served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

Graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York City.

Graduate of New York University.

Of his four films appearances two were under the direction of Barry Levinson (Sleepers and Disclosure) and a third reunion (which was in Quiz Show) was on a film produced by Levinson - who also has a cameo role.
