- Premankur Attorthy was born on January 1, 1890 in Faridpur, Bengal Presidency, British India [now in Faridpur, Bangladesh]. He was a director and writer, known for Bhikharan (1935), Sarala (1936) and Zinda Laash (1932). He died on October 13, 1964 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India.
