- David Ashkenazi was born on December 25, 1915 in Nizhny Novgorod, Russian Empire [now Russia]. He was an actor and composer, known for Balamut (1979), Granatovyy braslet (1965) and Stachel im Fleisch (1981). He died on February 19, 1997 in Moscow, Russia.
