Biography

Werner Asam was born on October 17, 1944 in Mallersdorf, Germany. He was an actor and director, known for Der Komödienstadel (1959), Heidi und Erni (1990) and Der Millionenbauer (1979). He died on March 28, 2026.

Asam grew up in Munich where he studied painting and sculpture.

In 2008, Asam was appointed to the literary society, the Munich Tower scribes.

German actor and stage director. In 1975, he made his stage debut at the Staatstheater Darmstadt. In 1976/77 he was engaged at the Bavarian State Theatre.
