- Jorge Arvizu was born on July 23, 1932 in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was an actor and assistant director, known for Frankenstein (1931), Sunset Boulevard (1950) and Lady and the Tramp (1955). He was married to Amalia Ochoa. He died on March 18, 2014 in Mexico City, Mexico.

- He was the Latin-American voice of Fred Flintstone in The Flintstones (1960). He also characterized Huckleberry Hound (formerly dubbed to Spanish by Alberto Gavira), Choo-Choo and Benny the Ball (from the classic Top Cat (1961) series), So-So, Mushmouse, among many other classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons that Arvizu dubbed for Latin America.
