- M. Arshad is the son of renowned Pakistani film music director M. Ashraf who was also part of the two-man film music directors' team of Manzoor Ashraf earlier in the 1960s and then went on his own and gave music in hundreds of Pakistani movies until he died on 4 Feb.2007.Now his son M. Arshad is an active film music director in Pakistan in 2015.
