Biography

Clive Arrindell was born on September 12, 1950 in Trinidad and Tobago. He was an actor, known for Scarlet and Black (1993), A.D. (1985) and Twelfth Night (1980). He died on July 25, 2024 in London, England, UK.

From 1997 until 2005 he played a character that is some kind of 'Spirit of Christmas' in the advertising campaign "Que la suerte te acompañe" ("May the luck be with you") for the Spanish Christmas lottery, a special draw with over 2.5 millions of euros (former 300 millions of pesetas) in play the 22nd of December, coinciding with the Winter Solstice. The slogan is a spoof from the iconic Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) quote "Que la fuerza te acompañe" (Spanish translation from "May the Force be with you").

Known in Spain as "El Calvo de la Loto" (Lotto's bald).
