Biography

Valy Arnheim was born on June 8, 1883 in Rappel, Governorate of Estonia, Russian Empire. He was an actor and director, known for Meiers lassen sich scheiden (1918), Die Piraten der Ostseebäder (1927) and Im 100-Kilometer-Tempo (1918). He was married to Lotte Steinhoff and Marga Lindt. He died on November 11, 1950 in Berlin, Germany.

German actor, on stage from 1904. Often in Shakespearean roles. Appeared in silent films, especially popular as detective Harry Hill in a series of crime dramas. Occasionally directed his own projects during the 1920's. Continued in supporting roles during the 30's and 40's.

Was married to the actress Marga Lindt.

The actor and director Valy Arnheim, whose film career already began in the 10's, belonged to the popular actors in the 20's. He entertained the audience with his figure Harry Hill (between 1918 and 1926) fro many years.
