Michael Armstrong was born on July 24, 1944 in Bolton, Lancashire, England, UK. He is a writer and director, known for House of the Long Shadows (1983), Mark of the Devil (1970) and Screamtime (1983).

Sometime film critic on the staff of "Films And Filming" magazine, which gave a good deal of publicity to the minor films he was involved in as writer and director.
