Billy Armstrong was born on January 14, 1891 in Bristol, England, UK. He was an actor and director, known for The Bank (1915), Up in Alf's Place (1919) and Down on the Farm (1920). He was married to Marion Parker. He died on March 1, 1924 in Sunland, California, USA.

Died of tuberculosis at the age of 33.

British music hall comic, one-time member of Fred Karno's troupe. In the U.S. from the mid-1910's, joining Charlie Chaplin at Essanay. Subsequently with Mack Sennet at Keystone. Seen in early films alongside Oliver Hardy and Harry Langdon.

Uncle of child actor Don Marion, through his marriage to his aunt Marion Parker.
