Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Kristen Ariza was born in Orlando, Florida: the youngest child of an Hispanic, West Indian father and an African American mother. At the age of 17, through a fluke audition set up by one of her sisters, she landed a role on the British television series "The Tomorrow People". Having decided that being a trained actress was better than being a lucky one, four years later Kristen received a BA in Theatre from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She then went on to the acclaimed Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia before moving to New York and her current residence of Los Angeles all in pursuit of her love of acting.

Kristen has performed in numerous stage productions ranging from contemporary shows and musicals to Shakespeare. Her television credits include diverse guest-starring roles on shows such as Charmed, Numb3rs and Medical Investigation as well as two new series which will begin airing in Summer 2005: The Inside (FOX) and Fathom (NBC).

When not working, she can usually be found training for half or full marathons, painting or working on another jig saw puzzle. Her friends call her "Black Magic." And after you've witnessed this incomparable woman's talent, you will understand why.

Is a friend of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0222336/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Seamus Dever</a>&#39;s. Years before they appeared together on <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt1219024/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Castle (2009)</a>, they starred in a stage play together; in an amusing coincidence, <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm1065664/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Stana Katic</a> happened to be in the audience one night.
