Biography

Stefano Arduino was born on January 27, 1966 in Italy. He is a writer and director, known for Camera obscura (1997), When I Have Fears (1991) and L'homme sans musique (2013).

He directed films in English, Italian and French.

Moved to Paris for 10 years, after his short film Camera Obscura was nominated for the "Palm d'Or" at Cannes.

Great-nephew of Italian soccer legend and pioneer Giovanni Ferrari.

Received two degrees in film production and history of cinema from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

To believe that short films are just made by people hoping to make features one day, would be like saying that poets write poetry just because one day they hope to have a novel published. Truth is that most feature film directors fail miserably when they try to direct a good short.
