  • Gabi Antal is a film producer with an extensive international portfolio and over 30 years of experience in the industry. His work spans acclaimed projects showcased at top festivals as Cannes, Sundance, Karlovy Vary and Berlin. Recent highlights include The Plague (2025), nominated in Cannes Un Certain Regard section and Watcher (2022), a Sundance nominee. His credits as a producer also feature Queen Marie of Romania (2019) and Double (2015). Gabi Antal began his career working on international productions as Cold Mountain (2003) and Train of Life (1998). In 2013, he was named Best Romanian Film Producer by the Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN). He is the founder of Abis Studio in Bucharest, a leading company specializing in film production, commercials and post-production. As part of its extensive post-production projects, Abis Studio has contributed to numerous award-winning films, including Child's Pose (2013), directed by Calin Peter Netzer (Winner of the Golden Berlin Bear), 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007), directed by Cristian Mungiu (Winner of the Palme d'Or) and many other acclaimed international and Romanian titles.
