Biography

Harry J. Anslinger was born on May 20, 1892 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, USA. He was an actor, known for To the Ends of the Earth (1948) and Longines Chronoscope (1951). He died on November 14, 1975 in Holidaysburg, Pennsylvania, USA.

Commmissioner of the U.S. Bureau of Narcotics from 1930-1962. Known for his almost fanatical crusade against marijuana (which he decried as "Mexican opium") and its users.
