Biography

Anniqa Järlefors, born 1950 in Piteå, is a Swedish actress, exotic dancer/performer, snake charmer, singer, fitness instructor and artist. Her career as an exotic dancer and snake charmer started in the late 60's in Swedish amusement parks and fun fairs. She made her screen debut in "Pippi Långstrump" 1969. The following years she relocated to Denmark performing at cabarets and clubs. In the middle of the 70's Anniqa appeared in a couple of movies and married the Danish boxer Hans Jørgen Jacobsen. In 1985 she emigrated to the United States with her new husband, body builder Sven-Ole Thorsen. The couple settled in California where Anniqa started her new career now as a fitness instructor and body builder. She also started painting and subsequently exhibitions in both the US and Europe followed.

Has one son, Robert, with the late danish boxer Hans Jørgen Jacobsen.

Became a U.S. Citizen in 1994.
