Johan Ankerstjerne was born on 17 January 1886 in Randers, Denmark. He was a cinematographer and director, known for Blind Justice (1916), The End of the World (1916) and The Airship Fugitives (1912). He was married to Anna Jensine Marie Knudsen. He died on 20 August 1959 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
